(Sept. 1, Ash Street Saloon) James Sasser and Co. are currently hard at work on their next album, the third after Southside of Sorrow and The Melcliff.

Braving the heat, rock-loving listeners at Ash St. were treated to a nice set from Sasser, including some of the yet-to-be-released new songs.

A huge fan of The Melcliff, I was a little disappointed that Sass-Attack didn’t grace the crowd with a live version of Chinatown, arguably that album’s standout single. So I’m going to go ahead and include that track here when I get near my home computer…(time passes)… OK, I’m home now. Here’s that track:
