Minnesota, 1/9/08 - Indiedrive, Inc., of Minnesota, announced the creation of the world’s first dedicated usb flash drive album marketplace today. The company is a place where indie artists can sell their music on flash drives.
Indiedrive will distribute the digital music and other media files on advanced, premium grade usb flash drives through South Dakota-based CFgear.
Here’s how it works: At indiedrive.com, music lovers browse through usb flash drive albums the same way they would browse through albums at a record store, and order from there.
Indiedrive, Inc. was born from a band of Minnesota-based independent artists who understand the many financial barriers to “making it”. The soul of indiedrive is a system that allows independent artists to sell music via usb flash drives without requiring bulk purchases, set-up fees or subscriptions. The end result is the world’s first dedicated flash drive album storefront created solely for the purpose of promoting independent music.
